So, how did you cope with, glances around, whispers, lockdown?
Well, this production is the first by a group of young artists under their newly formed company, Brick Haus Productions. This devised show follows an unexpected pause in the lives of three flatmates living in the heart of Wellington. We know them, we’ve been them, some of us still are them.
The dishes piled up, the shoes gathered dust, the tension travelled through the walls, under the door, down the street, and across the sea. We had the time of our lives.
Grab a bev and let’s light it up as we blend naturalism with clowning across multiple characters, multiple back yards, multiple imaginations (or lack thereof), and countless hours spent waiting, watching, waiting, watching…
One year after the announcement of lockdown, come reminisce with the New Zealanders you know, and some more you might have forgotten about - possibly some trolls and aliens too?
The Random Stage is fully wheelchair accessible; please contact the BATS Box Office by 4.30 pm on the show day if you have accessibility requirements so that the appropriate arrangements can be made. Read more about accessibility at BATS.
