Join artist Sione Monu in a Kahoa making session. Learn about making Kahoa (floral necklaces) with materials found at hand and with florals from the Mangere Town Centre.
The workshop draws upon nimamea’a tuikakala, the Tongan art of creating kupesi (geometric designs) with sweet-scented flowers to adorn necklaces, waist ornaments and dance costumes.
