This 1-day Introduction to Leading & Managing Others workshop is designed to introduce and develop core management skills to deliver successful team outcomes. Throughout the course, you develop an awareness of how effective teams work together and the behaviours required to build a high performing team. The course will build on the key concepts learned in Communicating with Confidence and participants will be given the opportunity to apply what they have learnt both in the workshop and after the workshop.
This course will cover the topics of effective communication, giving and receiving feedback, managing performance and team development.
Learn the principles of effective communication by understanding your preferred communication style and how to adapt to different communication styles.
Learn how to give and receive feedback and manage difficult conversations in the workplace.
Understand performance issues and learn how to confidently lead informal performance conversations.
Understand the behaviours and attributes of high performing teams and how you can apply these learnings to your team.
