This workshop is tutored by Philip Holmes who specialises in painting maori.
He uses a technique with conte crayon, linseed oil, soft cloth and brushes to create an image. This is the sfumato technique. Colour is then added.
You will need to bring a medium sized canvas, a small brush, linseed oil and some conte ( we stock these).
