World's Dumbest Doctor is a show about how diplomas are overrated and being smart is stupid. With an endearing mix of overconfidence and humility, Jonathan's material shines a light on his many weaknesses and the general lapses that result from being human. Inspired by his PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry which he wisely threw away to pursue a career in comedy he often points out how we don't know as much about the world as we think we do. His tone is that of a cynical optimist who thinks everything sucks, but that's still awesome. Jonathan has headlined comedy clubs across America and since moving to New Zealand he's been described as "easily one of the best comedians in the village of NZ." In 2015, he was runner up for the Best Comedian in Utah Award by City Weekly. He has been featured on Radio New Zealand and recently won the 2020 3rd annual Mount Maunganui Comedy Competition.
