"Founded in 1993 by itinerant New Zealand actor Sam Neill, Two Paddocks is four boutique vineyards in esteemed locations throughout Central Otago. Totalling 20 hectares in vines, the focus is primarily on Pinot Noir plus a small quantity of Riesling. Two Paddocks produces limited amounts of single-vineyard wines - The First Paddock Gibbston, The Fusilier Bannockburn and The Last Chance Alexandra. The Two Paddocks Estate Pinot Noir is an assemblage of the older blocks whilst Picnic, the introductory label, is sourced from younger vines. The proprietor, Sam Neill, writes the website and is contactable via Twitter @TwoPaddocks and more recently Instagram @samneilltheprop. His Viticulturist, Mike Wing, has been with Sam at Two Paddocks since 2004 and his winemaker, Dean Shaw, since 1999. All Two Paddocks vineyards and wines are fully certified organic via BioGro New Zealand (#4816). "
