“Seeing the Potential” with Catherine Cattanach
This talk is all about making the most of what you’ve got, even if that’s not much!
As much as we all love shooting in gorgeous locations with relaxed clients and plenty of time to create, the reality is that many times as photographers we actually just have to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Weddings in particular are a great training ground for developing your photography skills, as you’re often against time pressure, tricky lighting conditions, nervous people and bad weather, but there are no chances for a re-shoot.
In this presentation, Catherine Cattanach will share a few tricks for getting decent portraits in sub-optimal conditions and in sub-optimal locations.
We will also be celebrating our talented group of Wellington photographers by sharing a slideshow of 2020 Iris Award-winning images from our region.
We’d love to see you there.
