We're delighted to have one of our Massey PhD student Ms Akisi Ravono to present on:

1) the concept of the salusalu & how it came to Fiji,
2) it's traditional significance as different areas in Fiji may have their 'salusalu' symbolic to their region,
3) the role of women with salusalu, the correct & traditional way to 'garland' a salusalu on a person!

To finish, there will be a demonstration by Ms Losana Naqiri using ribbon materials & an opportunity for group work for you to learn how to make your own.

Please note there's no creche or childcare services available at this event.
