A superlative show!

John Kempt returns to New Zealand and fronts “RAM – The Paul McCartney Tribute”. The show is modelled on McCartney’s current touring act and makes solid use of a great 5-piece band:

Gareth Scott - Drums.
An original member of “The Tuesdays”, and a seasoned musician from the Melbourne music scene. Gareth appears regularly with “Landslide” a popular Fleetwood Mac tribute.

Matt Neale - Guitar/Bass/Vocals
At 20, Matt is already a veteran of the New Zealand musical theater scene. He recently worked as a session musician on the Queen musical, “We Will Rock You”, and previous to that, in the orchestra for “City Of 100 Lovers” at Sky Theater.

Jack Barnard - Keyboards/Brass/Vocals
Jack is another young prodigy, experienced beyond his years. Also a regular in “Landslide”, he is a multi instrumentalist, singer and music educator.

Grant Thunder - Bass/Guitar/Vocals/Keyboards
A talented all rounder, Grant appears regularly with “Elegantly Wasted” Auckland’s popular INXS tribute. He is also a busy session musician.

John Kempt (Paul McCartney) was cast in the lead role of the multi million dollar musical “Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story”, and is no stranger to performing in the role of rock icons. He has been called “one of the best front men New Zealand has ever produced” (Rick Bryant “Clever Monkeys)
After years of performing and recording in the United States, Kempt brings us this outstanding show - “The Paul McCartney Tribute” all the hits with no filler.

Tickets on sale now at Tauranga Citizens Club, cnr 13th Ave and Cameron Rd, $15, 5-8 pm. Full bar and meals available.
