James Tennant and Cellophonics from the Waikato University Conservatorium of Music return to perform at a concert on as part of the Midday Concert Programme. Cellophonics has been in existence for the past 15 years and is the only permanent ensemble of its kind in the country. The cello octet was created as a performance outlet for the top cello students enrolled at the University. This outstanding group of young musicians have over the years, performed in most of the musical centres of New Zealand. This is the 10th time they have visited Taupō as part of their yearly tour.
