Mi Casa, Su Casa is the home away from home for all expats in Aotearoa. A place for us wanderers to find our peers, hear our stories and share them with our new whenua. Join us in a night of cultural diversity, always in a different language and ready to surprise you with the wonders of the world that all of Aotearoa’s adopted children have brought with them to their new home.
This is the kaupapa of Mi Casa, Su Casa. A monthly show at the Basement studio which offers a space where the non English speaking communities of Auckland can share their art and culture, creating events for their communities to gather, exposure of these communities to the local Kiwi audience and a stage for these artists to continue to develop themselves.
We are looking for groups interested in taking this space with any type of performance they wish to share. Comedy, dance, music, storytelling, improv, poetry or even a panel show. Let us help you create a louder voice for your community and celebrate how diverse Tāmaki Makaurau really is.
If you are interested please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of your group, the idea for your show and what language it would be performed in.
