CRC Bay of Islands Sailing Week is the biggest regatta of its kind in New Zealand, and one of the Southern Hemisphere’s premier yachting events, attracting entries from around New Zealand and overseas.
The event starts with Registration on Tuesday 21 January, followed by three days of colourful and competitive racing, across 13 divisions, with over 100 boats expected to take part. Evening entertainment, food and a licensed bar is provided in the evenings, and on Thursday evening the much-loved Explore Beach Party at Otehei Bay returns. Prizegiving concludes the event on Friday evening at Regatta HQ in Opua.
Spectators can watch the event from on the water, or from on shore at various places in the Bay of Islands. Evening entertainment at Regatta HQ in Opua is free for all to attend.
Entries are now officially open for the 2020 edition of CRC Bay of Islands Sailing Week.
