Our after school art club focuses on art in all forms. Over the course of this 10 week programme your child will learn about different mediums which include; air dried and polymer clay, oil, watercolour and acrylic paints, scrapbooking, paper mache and more and will have the opportunity to experiment with sculptures.

After this experimental 10-week programme your children will take home their artwork they created, meet new friends and discover their preferred medium when creating. In term 2 your child can decide which days he/she would like to attend to focus on a specific medium discovered in this 10 week programme.

Your tutor, Annie, has been teaching art to children for the last 15 years in New Zealand. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and majored in psychology. After working with special needs children for over a year she was trained as a ABA therapist at the Centre for Autism and Related Disorders in Auckland. Annie believes in the power of art when used as a tool towards healing. She is a nurturing, caring individual that can create a class not only for learning but for fun and making new friends along the way.

Annie focuses on small class sizes at her home studio in Mairehau. Class size will never reach above 10 maximum. Typically the preferred size is between 6 and 8 students where she can offer more one on one tuition. If you would like to enrol your child in term one you do need to book in advance.

You can do this by filling out the contact form in this website or text 0212220524.
