Te Tuhi

Familiarise yourself with watercolour painting and build your technical skillbase. This class is suitable for both beginners and intermediate watercolourists.

In this class you will learn warm up exercises, traditional painting techniques such as, the basics of botanical painting and creating perspective with a graded wash, and also how to utilise masking and layering as a contemporary compositional tool.

About the tutor:
Veronika Djoulai is a visual artist working with sculpture, painting and found photography. She graduated from the Whitecliffe Collage of Arts and Design, Auckland, New Zealand and holds MA in Visual Arts. Veronika currently lives and works in Auckland.
