We are stoked to announce Sawmill Brewery are coming to the city again to showcase their award-winning beer and local produce at the eatery.
Their beer is all about clean taste and honouring the ingredients. Putting their own style and techniques into classic beers has made them regarded as one of top breweries in the country. It's pure beer. There's no sugar, preservatives or colour added. Being unpasteurised it means it's always fresh and full of vibrant flavour.
The Sawmill team will be talking through each beer as we make our way through the selection. This will be an open and relaxed night where you can ask as many questions as you please.
Will Michell, the Smoko Room Head Chef, will be bringing down some of the outstanding local Mahurangi produce to match the beers. Much like the focus on their beer, Will's cooking is all about keeping it simple, local and real.
The evening will kick off with beer and a "taster" on arrival followed by a 4-course dinner matched with some of Sawmill's finest.
Food and beer is the perfect match. This is going to an evening of taste, banter, music and fun.
