“In my Alix Bosco guise, I interviewed a dominatrix, who was convinced that my request for an interview was just a front for getting a bloody good whipping.” Wake yourself up gently listening to an intriguing conversation between ex-Junior All Black and playwright Greg McGee, Alix Bosco – his crime writing female persona – and Chair of Featherston Booktown Trust, Peter Biggs. Greg continues to write incendiary novels and will be discussing his soon-to-be released work Necessary Secrets. “Who’s on the Couch?” is a first for Featherston Booktown and it’s sure to be a great way to start your Festival Saturday!

This is an event involved in the Featherston Booktown Festival on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th May celebrating everything to do with books, writers and reading. The three-day programme includes writing workshops; poetry readings; talks by leading authors and illustrators; and a book fair including stalls with rare and second-hand books. There are also events specifically for children.
