Performing on average 150 shows a year across the world, Nick Charles is known internationally as
“Australia’s virtuoso of acoustic roots and blues”. His 30 year career has seen him accumulate every conceivable accolade including Port Fairy Artist of the Year 2014. He’s toured with artists including
John Hammond, Guy Clarke, Ralph McTell, Robyn Ford and BB King touring the US 12 times in recent years. This is dazzling finger-picking roots magic and a lifetime’s stories and songs from the world’s

Opening for Nick will be Bob and Kate playing their soulful and lively selection of acoustic guitar led, violin, flute or accordion accompanied country blues plus traditional English folk or bluegrass songs. Both Kate and Bob sing, alternating lead vocal and harmony parts and their instrumental work is enthralling.

Tin Hut Live will also be on for Wed. Aug 7th when the Downunderdogs from Upper Hutt will be playing their brand of acoustic multi-harmony bluegrass Appalachian folk blues.
Then on Wed Oct 16th we'll be having a return visit from Wellington/Hutt's Ain't Superstitious. Prices for these Live Performance evenings are back to $7.50 on the door.
The bands/ musicians playing for THL in November and December have yet to be confirmed and the show goes on.
