Melbourne-based Morton Trio features three emerging Kiwi musicians. Arna and Alexander Morton hail from Christchurch, and Liam Wooding from Whanganui. All three have been good friends for many years.
Pursuing their musical studies took them over the Tasman for study at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) and the University of Melbourne, where they all free-lance musicians performing in orchestral and small ensemble contexts.
The luscious horn trio of Brahms will be a feature the Motueka programme, alongside works that bring out the singing qualities of the horn and violin. Arna Morton Violin; Alex Morton French Horn; Liam Wooding Piano.
