We are heading to New Plymouth on Saturday 9th November 2019, in search of the need of the streets.
We will be providing home cooked meals which will be in takeaway containers and beverages, warm clothing, blankets and shoes to the souls of the street, our homeless brothers and sisters.
We are hoping we can gain the support with local hairdresers, doctors and social workers to help fight homelessness and get our people our fellow kiwi's off the street.
We are wanting to gather individuals and join as one to go out into every single street in New Plymouth and give as much aroha we can to those whom live 24/7 on the cold streets of the city.
If you are wanting to join, we will meet at the New Plymouth Isite car park at 5:30pm and then 6pm we can all spread out over the city from there, and provide for as much whanau on the streets.
We are hoping to be out in the streets until 10pm, we do understand that some members who maybe joining and have families and fully understand if you need to go home.
To all whom are wanting to join, please bring what you may feel that you can give to whanau struggling.
We are also asking if anyone has utilities than can be used for hot drinks such as flasks etc
Even if you cant make it, we know deep down that you care and have compassion for our whanau on the streets.
We thank you for your support!
Please no photo's taken of anyone living on the streets to respect their privacy, if they do give permission that is fine.
