Seven Wonders Fleetwood Mac Showcase was the brainchild of singer Rachel Cox, who was inspired by her love for the songs and voice of Stevie Nicks. The showcase concept came from the idea of not simply being content as a tribute act, but to put on a truly authentic Fleetwood Mac experience and spectacle, while also incorporating the best of Stevie Nicks solo career.
Seven Wonders belts out song after song of all the hits you know and love, taking you on a journey through 50 years of Fleetwood Mac - from the early blues inspired Peter Green years to the classic Buckingham/Nicks era, Stevie Nicks solo works in the 80's, the bands legendary live set from 1997's The Dance, and right through to the bands current incarnation featuring Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and New Zealand's very own Neil Finn of Crowded House.
Joining Rachel in Seven Wonders are some of Wellington's most talented musos, including fellow founding member Mitch Dean on guitar, keys and vocals; Dylan Luke Brown playing the intricate and inspired guitaring of Lindsay Buckingham; Sarah Hall as Christine McVie, writer of some of Fleetwood Mac's most memorable pop and dance tunes; and Jared Carson and Cam Sutton as Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, the namesake of the band and the only constant members throughout their tumultuous 50 year career. They are the heat behind the beat that will keep you dancing all night long!
