Massage & Relaxation: sweeten your Saturday!
Self-Massage: using balls & breath work we’ll roll; exploring, softening and releasing tension & adhesions in the myofascial network. I'll guide you through safe ways to explore tension using balls in different ways in a range of positions. One bonus of this type of 'massage' is that you can control the pressure yourself using ball, body weight and movement options. It's great for mobility, performance & posture.
Guided Relaxation: for deeper release we finish lying down with a guided relaxation. Yoga nidra, like a 'yogic sleep', is a powerful tool for deep relaxation and healing. Everyone is welcome - no experience with yoga or meditation necessary - this is a guided practice, making it very accessible. It is a deeply restorative, regenerative experience for body & mind: some say that thirty minutes of nidra is equivalent to four hours of sleep!

I was drawn to yoga for mental & physical ‘space’. Now yoga is like a best buddy – it goes with me everywhere & has taught me so much. One key lesson I return to on my mat is to slow down and remember we are human beings rather than human doings.
I've been teaching yoga for over 10 years and especially love leading this kind of slow practice that's so accessible and beneficial on many levels. I practice yoga through teachings from Ashram Yoga 500hr and am influenced by my background in public health, fitness instructing, pilates and many styles of yoga.
