We all know things go better with a plan and this workshop, held over two one-hour sessions, will give you the confidence to plan your edible garden for the year. This might be the most important and productive time you devote to your garden. The first session will cover prioritising what you grow, seasonal growing, plant spacing, what needs sun, using shelter and support and choosing a scale of garden you can manage. The second session gives you chance to apply what you’ve learned to a ‘template’ garden plan which you’ll fill with summer crops. You’ll go home with the knowledge and enthusiasm to apply to planning your own edible garden.
Although these workshops are free thanks to sponsorship from Hastings District Council, please register via Eventfinda only if you are definitely going to attend the workshop and you have set aside the time to come in your diary before you register. Beginner to experienced gardener with a minimum of 4 metres squared growing space for edible crops. This workshop will be of limited value if you’ve got less space than this.
