Paul Gadsby's eco-political bird paintings capture current environmental issues and the impact on native species and their habitat.

The Takeaways series was influenced by the NZ artist Don Binney.

Exhibition Opening: Friday 31st May 5.30pm
Public Talk by Paul Gadsby: Saturday 1st June, 11am.

A mostly self-taught artist, Paul Gadsby has previously exhibited in group shows at Aratoi, Alfred Memelink Artspace Gallery, Carterton Events Centre, and the NZ Academy of Fine Arts. This is his first solo exhibition at Aratoi.

Exhibition continues until 28th July.
