The first-ever Butterflies Trust film fundraiser is on Wednesday, 23 October at the Penthouse,
Brooklyn, 6pm for a 6.30pm sharp start. Our film is Bellbird, which got good reviews at the Film
Festival. It is about a Northland farmer’s inability to express his grief after his wife dies. Despite the
subject matter, it is a comedy drama!
We’d very much appreciate it if you could support our fundraiser, which will help fund the Trust’s
activities. We’re a registered charity which, among other things, seeks to protect habitat and
endangered species, undertake and sponsor research, and run education programmes in schools.
Film tickets are $18. We are also selling raffle tickets at $2 for 1 ticket, $5 for 3 tickets.

magazine available, and we’d appreciate Koha for these.
