Research suggests that organisations that respect and value the diversity brought by both women and men enjoy a positive impact on business performance and are better able to attract and retain high performers.
However, in New Zealand, where 51 per cent of the population are women, only 20 per cent of senior roles are held by females.
If our organisations are going to be benefit from gender diversity, we need men to be leaders in this space.
Participants in this workshop will be:
- Able to manage conversations with others about the benefits of diversity and inclusion.
- Mindful of privilege and how this can be leveraged to help others.
- Conscious of barriers that limit the effectiveness of teams, and have simple strategies to mitigate them.
- Confident to take actions that demonstrate inclusive leadership.
