"Frances Hodgkins: European Journeys" brings together works from New Zealand and around the globe to trace the artist’s creative and peripatetic life. From her upbringing in Dunedin, through France, Morocco and Spain to her final days in England, examine the influence of location and journeying on this fascinating modernist painter.
We invite all Auckland Art Gallery Members to come to the Preview Day of this major exhibition on Friday 3 May. The exhibition will be open from 1 to 4pm, and will be preceded by a half-hour talk by Curator Mary Kisler at 12pm in the Gallery Auditorium. After the talk, Mary will be available to sign copies of the exhibition catalogue in the Gallery shop.

- RSVP for the talk is required, this event will reach capacity so make sure you book your seat. It is not necessary to book for the exhibition preview.
