In our busy lives we find it very difficult to relax and enjoy the moment. Even while we are doing things we like, our mind is never in the present – we are constantly making plans for the future, worrying about what might happen next, and never really feeling content.
On this half-day course we will learn meditations to help us let go of this limiting mental habit. Through this we will develop a peaceful mind, be able to make the most of every moment of our life and begin to uncover its true meaning.
About the teacher:
Dave MacPherson has been involved with Modern Buddhism for over 15 years, both in Australia and in New Zealand. He has received extensive Dharma teachings and has had numerous opportunities to successfully apply these methods to both his family and professional life. Dave’s teachings are very lucid and practical, showing how to integrate Buddhist thought in all aspects of life. He is light, sincere and friendly, and his guided meditations easily put us in touch with our inner peace.
