Succeed in IELTS!
Teachers: Frances Battersby and Jonny Crook.
Entry level: For students with intermediate to advanced level English.
This course will give you clear, straightforward tuition in how to maximise your score in IELTS for either the General or Academic test.
We will cover all aspects of the test: reading, writing, listening and speaking, looking at target areas most likely to cause problems. By the end of the course you will have gained the confidence and skills to succeed in IELTS.
Using the best Cambridge and Oxford University materials, we will train you to reach your IELTS potential. We will study key aspects of IELTS systematically, and in depth, in a supportive and fast moving class.
On the last day, you will take a complete practice test under exam conditions. Following that, your teacher will discuss your results individually, pointing out areas for improvement. By the end of the course, you will receive a very clear idea of your IELTS band score.
The course runs 9am - 3pm each day. We will take breaks so we encourage you to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
For NZ Citizens and permanent migrants (Permanent Resident visa or Resident visa), the course fee is $60. This course fee is subsidised by the Tertiary Education Commission and you must agree to attend at least 80% of classes (at least 4 days).
The subsidy will apply automatically when you enrol online. If you are new to our English school, please email us evidence of your NZ Citizenship, NZ Permanent Resident Visa or NZ Resident Visa.
For temporary migrants and visitors (work visa, guardian visa, visitor visa etc) the course fee is $290.
