Sharing Simons philosophy of showcasing the finest local producers and growers our country has to offer, Andrew developed his own style at Amayjen, he feels at home in the kitchen but if he’s not creating dishes, you’ll often find him out foraging for ingredients, including a variety of wild fruits, herbs and flowers to add a personal touch to his dishes.
Andrew has gained many accomplishments and awards in his own right including being named Scottish Chef of the Year in 2009 & 2010 and is currently NZ Beef and Lamb Ambassador.
You can expect a meaty 6-course menu inspired by Andrews love of local game and produce with ingredients sourced and foraged from the Manawatu by Andrew himself with a dessert inspired by his Scottish Chef of the Year winning dish.
Wine pairings will be available on the night to compliment the menu.
