Another great Cine Night at MAVtech!
This month’s film screens at 7pm. This is a 1980’s NZ adventure drama*
At 6 pm on the last Friday of each month, the doors open at MAVtech to give patrons the opportunity to view of our collection of audio-visual exhibits, before the film starts.
*includes some action violence so may not be suitable for younger children.
When you move upstairs to the Dress Circle for a 7pm start, you will be entertained by a selection of advertising slides from the past along with the wonderful tones of our player piano masterfully operated by Jim’s feet. As the house lights dim and the projectors start to purr a picture appears on the screen… maybe starting with a news reel or cartoon… and then the feature film. All just like it was in the golden years of cinema.
Entry to the museum is $8.00.
And remember Radio Foxton, situated in, and part of MAVtech. Tune to 105.4 FM and let Xan and the team entertain you, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, with probably the widest variety of music played by any radio station in the country!
We are open Saturday and Sunday 2 – 4pm and look forward to seeing you here.
