Super Safari – I’d be lion if I said we’re not going to have fun these holidays. I’m no cheetah, but you’re giraffing me crazy! Come on a safari as we analyse the animals of Africa. Tuesday 9 July

Colour My World – Yellow, orange you glad you red this? Create a rainbow of fun as we examine the science and art of colour. Wednesday 10 July

Winter Wonders – Can’t stop your teeth chattering? Come in from the cold and create some winter memories with us! Thursday 11 July

Carnival Capers – Hola Amigos! It’s carnival time at the Museum these school holidays. Get ready to party and dance as we chase away the winter blues. Friday 12 July

International Embrace Your Geekness Day – Geeks of the world unite, today is our day! We’re all a little nerdy about something, so let your geeky light shine on this, our special day. Monday 15 July

Fantastic Fairy Tales – Once upon a time, there was a holiday programme where fairies, monsters and heroes met in a magical forest called Basecamp. And they all lived happily ever after. Wednesday 17 July

Sweet Dreams – Does counting sheep really work? Can I eat chocolate after midnight? And is it really safe to wake a sleepwalker? Travel down below the subconscious to discover what happens when we are asleep and dreaming. Thursday 18 July

Mystical Myths – Before there was science, mythology told the stories of the world around us. Explore the myths and legends of ancient Greece and the Māori people of New Zealand, as we learn about the beliefs that shaped the past. Friday 19 July

Weekdays during the school holidays from Monday 8 to Friday 19 July.

Whole day sessions: $55 per child 8.30am–5.30pm.
Half day sessions: $30 per child 8.30am–1pm OR 1pm–5.30pm.

10% discount when you book all 10 full-day sessions. Ages 5–12, fully supervised, dress for mess! Bring a packed lunch and drink bottle or pre-order your lunch from our Café. Please note, children watch a G-rated movie during break times.
