Everybody’s clothes swap: Miramar edition.
Time to replenish, refresh, and revive your wardrobe? Need new threads, but hate fast fashion? Join us for a clothes swap in a supportive and inclusive setting. All genders, ages, shapes, sizes, and styles very warmly welcome! There's heaps of room for everyone.
This event is part of Plastic Free July.
What: A clothes swap for everyone
Cost: Entry by koha to Our Seas Our Future: http://osof.org/
Leftover items will go to Opportunity for Animals.
How it works:
Come along with any clothes you no longer love. Take away new threads for you, your partner(s), your kids, your neighbors, your gran, maybe even your dog friends. If you don’t have any clothes to bring, that’s fine, you’re still very welcome to come and grab some clothes. Please bring a bag for all your new goodies.
There will be free vegan baked goodies, and free coffee and tea provided by the incredible CommonSense Organics! This is a waste free event, so please bring your own cup.
Early drop-offs are available
You can drop off your clothes from 9am on the day or at drop off points in Wellington in the days before - contact us for details at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessible and gender-neutral toilets.
