I have practised yoga and meditation for 30 years and have successfully held yoga classes both in the UK and in Auckland. I recently moved to Nelson and I invite you to share some yoga with me in my new venue at Tahunanui Community Hall, Nelson on a Wednesday evening between 5.30pm - 6.45pm.
Having studied Hatha and Vinyasa yoga for 30 years, I also completed the 4 year yoga training in Snowdonia, Wales as a Dru yoga teacher in 2008. My classes incorporate elements of Hatha, Vinyasa and Dru. Each session is accessible and adaptable for all levels of fitness and ability. The Dru element encourages the correlation between our body, heart and mind with soft flowing movements and sequences incorporating awareness of the breath by using positive visualisation throughout.
The Hatha and Vinyasa sequences heighten flexibility, develop a strong core, improve balance and assist with alignment of the body. Each session allows your restorative yoga practice to conclude with a nurturing and gentle relaxation.

Please bring a blanket and a bottle of water with you.
