DA WU (The Healing Dance) Health Qigong is a beneficial and easy qigong form for practitioners of all levels, including beginners, and of special interest to anyone interested in the ancient qigong forms.
Join us for an introductory evening and full day of workshop led by Orlando Garcia, Director and Principal Instructor of the Wuushu Culture Association, Auckland. Orlando will lead you through the graceful, relaxing dance-like exercises of Da Wu.
This ancient qigong originated from the Tang Yao Period (about 4000 years ago) and is a health-preserving method which channels energy through the joints and meridians. It is simple, graceful, smooth and flexible. It co-ordinates with mind and qi, enhancing upper limb strength, flexibility, balance, cardiovascular system function and improves the mood.
Registrations are welcome on the day or pre-register by contacting TTCCA for a registration form - firstname.lastname@example.org.
