Are your children looking for ways to be creative?
Is school sometimes a challenge for your child?
Are you wanting to build your child's resilience and calming skills?
You may be interested in our partially funded Creativity and Resilience Arts Therapy Group. This is a chance for your children to have fun and be creative while they explore ways to become more resilient and empowered in their social school environment. Creative therapies are a powerful tool for helping young people express their thoughts, feelings and experiences, in order to learn to cope with personal challenges in healthy ways.
This group is run by two registered Clinical Arts Therapists and is aimed at primary school students in Hamilton between the ages of 7-8 years old. The group runs at Arts For Health Community Trust over 5 weeks, each Wednesday from 4pm - 5pm, with healthy snacks provided. This Arts Therapy Group is presented by Arts For Health Community Trust.
