Ever wondered what it’s like not to have a backbone or a bony skeleton?
Join marine biologists from NIWA as they tell you about some of the wacky, weird, and wonderful marine invertebrates living in the ocean. From sponges, sea urchins, shrimp, and starfish, to octopus and giant squid with soccer-ball-sized eyes, there are lots of amazing things to learn!
Join us at the Museum, and see how many of these critters you can discover in the Animal Attic.
Suitable for ages 5–12. All children must be supervised by an adult.
