Morton Trio is comprised of three emerging professional musicians from New Zealand, now studying in Melbourne. A bond of long friendship imbues performances with sensitivity as they explore the rich sonorities available when the cello in a piano trio is replaced by a French horn. Arna Morton led the 2017 Adam Troubadours superbly; Alex Morton believes everybody loves classical music, they just might not know it yet; and Liam Wooding is committed to the advocacy of New Zealand music.
