Business is no longer just driven by the bottom line. Increasingly entrepreneurs, business owners and corporates are integrating purpose and impact into what they do. From becoming a BCorp to starting up a social enterprise or community enterprise, there is a range of models which enable enterprises to put purpose at the front of their decision making. Tim Jones, the Grow Good Guy and BCorp Ambassador, and Sue Coutts, General Manager of one of New Zealand’s most successful social enterprises, Wastebusters, have walked the walk for decades and will share their journeys and the benefits of alternative business models.
Transport to the event - If you can, come on your BIKE, take the BUS (or ferry), CARPOOL or WALK. We’d love to keep this event as low impact as possible!
Plant a tree - We have two off-set partners this year, the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust and Te Kakano Aotearoa Trust. Part of our profits will go to these two amazing organisations. If you want to help regenerate our incredible district, we’ve also set up a tree registry with TREES THAT COUNT. By donating to the registry, you’re putting more native trees into the ground, helping not only reduce our footprint but also providing habitat for our feathered neighbours.
Digital Ticket = Zero Waste - We love empty bins. That’s why we kindly ask you not to print your ticket. Please keep a digital copy in your phone, or take a photo of your computer receipt. That’s all we need to see to let you in!
