An early evening get together to enjoy a drink and a few nibbles for those in the building eco-system. Following on from the discussions held at last year’s Summit, a group of businesses and organisations working in this sector got together and started looking at how to make the sector in Wanaka more sustainable. They identified three priorities: building standards reform; materials waste; and mental health and wellbeing. They working group are going to be joined by some leading experts to address how we can solve these issues. An evening full of informative presentations, open discussions and an opportunity to focus on community action to build a sustainable sector from the ground up.

Transport to the event - If you can, come on your BIKE, take the BUS (or ferry), CARPOOL or WALK. We’d love to keep this event as low impact as possible!
Plant a tree - We have two off-set partners this year, the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust and Te Kakano Aotearoa Trust. Part of our profits will go to these two amazing organisations. If you want to help regenerate our incredible district, we’ve also set up a tree registry with TREES THAT COUNT. By donating to the registry, you’re putting more native trees into the ground, helping not only reduce our footprint but also providing habitat for our feathered neighbours.
Digital Ticket = Zero Waste - We love empty bins. That’s why we kindly ask you not to print your ticket. Please keep a digital copy in your phone, or take a photo of your computer receipt. That’s all we need to see to let you in.
