Level 2 Intermediate classes Weds and Fridays, casual drop-ins welcome (NB Friday classes have a 1/2 hr 'sculpting' section at the start, shoes are required). We address strength and flexibility imbalances in your whole body.
Kim will show you to create length without tension, how to stand correctly and how to decompress your spine. Not forgetting of course, core and pelvic strength and stability. We use foam rollers, chi balls, power circles, bands, mini bands and sticks, all supplied. Mats and laughter also supplied.
Kim has been teaching Pilates for 10 years and is a Netfit Certified Classical Pilates Teacher, Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. She has been based at the Orakei Comminuty Centre for 15 years and has been teaching various other classes in the Bays for many years.
