Ferrymead Heritage Park is proud to host the latest event to come out of Christchurch’s thriving music scene – Uproar Music Festival.
With its debut this March, Uproar will showcase local performers and give a stage to up-and-coming artists from the underground Christchurch music scene.
This is a family-friendly event with two stages of great music playing. The acoustic stage will lend itself to duos and solo acts as the name suggests and the main stage will play host to some of the larger and louder acts around town.
We are happy to announce our headlining act, The Preservatives.
They will be supported by Iconic, Shannelee and The Blues Professor. There will be interlude sessions with legendary local artist, DJ Spinal to mix some classics between musicians, and MC the event.
More acts to be announced so stay tuned!
As with any music festival, there will be plenty of food, drink and craft vendors. There will be plenty of craft beer in supply to thanks to Lighthouse Brewery, who will have a range of their craft beer available for your enjoyment.
There will be limited Door Sales on the day.
This is an all ages festival, but proof of ID will be required.
Children under 17 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Children under 13 are free but will still be required to have a registered ticket upon entry.
