(S)he's a (fe)male (wo)man will exhibit the fashion graduate collection of Frank Lewis.
His works aim to further drag's critique of gender as a construct of contemporary western society. The collection thematically draws from camp, stage costume and the grotesque body. During the show, Lewis, as his drag persona, Hariel, will elaborate on the costumes and their inspirations. Each look will be showcased by a prominent Wellington drag queen, fusing fashion, concept and drag.
Performances by: Hariel, Harlie Lux, Kelly Fornia, Claire Voyant, & Just Beth.
