An event bringing you practical tips on Building Resilience and Boosting Confidence in your teen.
All profits from this event will be donated to charity Voices of Hope.
Adolescence is a challenging time... As a young person teens are no longer little children but they don’t quite fit into the adult world either. They can have a heap of expectations, whether real or perceived, weighing them down. The world can seem to demand a lot of things they need to be doing, things that maybe they don’t want to do. It can be an overwhelming time, filled with overwhelming internal and external struggles.
They are trying to figure out their independence, self-identity, self-worth, not to mention schoolwork and a social life... they are navigating a lot of confusing emotions.
As parents we want them to be happy, confident and resilient.
Raising Resilient Teens is an informal sit-down event where you get the chance to hear about practical tips your teens can implement to live a happier, healthier life.
Topics covered will be building resilience, tips for dealing with anxiety and other overwhelming emotions, bullying and social media, body positivity, healthy nutrition habits, plus how to practice gratitude and mindfulness.
