Co-ordinated by Insight Endometriosis, the 10th annual Purple Walk will be held Hamilton Lake Walkway - beginning at Innes Common near the Yacht Club.
More than 500 participants dressed in spectacular purple will raise awareness of this significant condition
Children under 13 are free. Dogs are free. Open to individuals or Teams of 4-10 Adults.
Adult entries are open to those aged 13 and older. Children and dogs are most welcome to come along and join in the fun.
The first 500 adult registrants can opt to purchase a World-Famous-In-The-Waikato goody bag, to be collected at the end of the walk.
Spot prizes worth more than $4000 will be awarded at the end of the event. There's even a special prize for the best-dressed dog!
Team registrations are encouraged, with a special prize for the Most Creative Team, so get a team together (4-10 Adults) and think about costumes, action, movement, noise, drama, music, and chants. Join in the fun!
Registrations will open in February. Registrations can be made on the day at the event from 4:30 pm - cash only!
A sausage sizzle, awareness ribbons etc will be available, so please bring cash. If there happen to be any surplus goody bags these will be made available to all participants at the end of the walk for $20 (Cash or Eftpos).
