Featuring a wide range of practitioners, each talk will be focused on both that evening’s performance and their work in general. Relaxed, informal, informative and fun, this is your chance to uncover what really goes into making a production at Pop-up Globe.
Pop-up Globe’s movement director Brigid Costello will discuss the process of making The Taming of the Shrew, with special focus on her ongoing work in introducing period movement into Pop-up Globe productions, teaching men to play women, and the unique challenges that face choreographers when they work in a Jacobean performance space.
