Ollie will talk about his interesting career so far and share how he has turned his business model to contain 50% videography.
Ian Rotherham FNZIPP: 3.30-5pm.
A portrait/lighting workshop. (Feel free to bring your camera for hands-on or to record the lighting setups if you wish)
Ian has many years experience in our industry as a photographer and tutor and is also a familiar face behind the scenes at Iris awards managing the prints. He's also won many Iris Awards himself, becoming a fellow in the process.
For the past 16 years he has been a photography tutor at Ucol. Today he will be showing us the intricacy of lighting and posing a model. Ian is a bit of a MacGyver and will run through endless ways to light a subject from basic one light artistry to multiple studio flash, speedlights, LED and daylight. Simple tricks to add to your toolbox. The right amount of lighting for the job, whether it be 5 studio lights or a piece of polystyrene.
