North West Country is proud to present returning for 2018 with a brand new musical lineup - the North West Wine, Beer & Food Festival!
This one-day boutique festival will feature a brilliant musical lineup of Fly My Pretties in their only Auckland summer show, Julia Deans performing with a full band, and Alae, alongside the finest local wine, beer and food the North West region has to offer.
Just 30 minutes North West of Auckland, the beautiful Hunting Lodge will play host to this day long event, which will showcase the amazing wine, beer and food that is on offer in the region. Over a dozen local vineyards, breweries and food vendors will be on display.
Food will be available from Hallertau Brewery, The Riverhead, The Tasting Shed, The Hunting Lodge and Dr Feelgood, along with an amazing range of beverages from Colab Brewing, Coopers Creek Vineyard, Hallertau Brewery, The Hunting Lodge, Kumeu River, Liberty Brewing Company, Mama's Brew Shop, Soljans Estate Winery and West Brook Winery.

North West Wine, Beer & Food Festival will see Fly My Pretties’ only Auckland show over summer. The collective will appear following on from the vinyl release of String Theory (The Complete Show) this past August, and will be bringing a 13-strong collective again anchored by Barnaby Weir. Julia Deans will be appearing alongside a full band, showcasing the material that has made her one of NZ’s most beloved musical acts, including material from her solo back catalogue and Fur Patrol, plus forthcoming new material. They will be joined by Alae, who are fast making a name for themselves with their brand of indie/folk.

Please note, a Return Event Bus ticket will need to be presented by all patrons to gain entry to these buses. FOR ALL BUSES, PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ALL BELOW DEPARTURE TIMES. For all buses, any children who cannot sit comfortably on their parent's lap will require a bus ticket.
The Return AUCKLAND CBD Buses will be leaving from the Tournament carpark located inside the City Works Depot complex at 34 Sale St, Auckland (opposite Sweatshop Bar). The buses will be located inside entry Gate S, which is accessible from the Sale St side.
Parking is available but not included with your purchased bus ticket. We take no responsibility for towed cars.
Event buses will be departing from Sale St at 12pm SHARP.
In conclusion to the festival, the bus will be returning to the city at 6:45pm, arriving at the same pickup location at approx. 7:20pm.
The Return Muriwai Bus will leave from Sand Dunz Cafe, 455 Motutara Rd at 12pm.
At the conclusion of the festival, the bus will depart the festival returning to the city at approximately 6.45pm, arriving at the same pickup location at approximately 7:15pm.
The Return Riverhead/Kumeu/Helensville Bus will leave from the below locations at the following times.
12pm - Bus departs Kumeu Rugby Football Club, Alexandra St, Riverhead
12.20pm - Bus departs Kumeu New World, 110 Main Road, Kumeu
12.45pm - Bus departs Countdown Helensville, 43 Commercial Road, Helensville
Please note, we take no responsibility for any cars parked on location.
At the conclusion of the festival, the bus will depart the festival returning to the same locations in the reverse order. The bus will depart the Hunting Lodge at approximately 6.45pm.
- Free parking will be available at The Hunting Lodge on the day.
- Children 15 years of age or under are free when pre-registered via their legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must accompany all children.
- A range of vendors will be selling food on the day however; attendees are welcome to bring a picnic. Please note, all liquids are prohibited from being brought into the venue. Free water will be available on site.
