At 1pm on the centenary of Armistice Day, 11 November 2018, there will be a public talk in the Services section of Karori Cemetery, Wellington.
The talk will acknowledge the end of WW1 100 years ago and explain the development of a dedicated services section where men who died in Wellington could lie alongside their comrades. The event will last 45-60 minutes and is free for anyone to attend. The Services section is a flat grassed area, on two levels with four steps between. Access is not limited.
