What was on the radio when ‘Friday Night in Town’ was a thing?
What did you have on your C60 mix-tape when we were bunking skool, hangin' at the park, chewing gum, and ridin’ the bus on the back seat? What posters did you have pinned to your bedroom wall?
At the skool disco, what did you dance to? Who did you dance with? Of course, no-one went to niteclubs. Oh no, we never saw the inside of the Skyline Bar, Palladium, Xanadu, 818, Firehouse, or Chancery… or had any of the dollar drinks…
It’s well time for an 80s and 90s High School Reunion! We’re playing all your favourites from our skool days, and then some.
On May 05, your High School Hits are played the way they were supposed to be: with laser lights, atmosphere, and at a venue that is perfect for this.
There is a great dance-floor, a very cool bar, a bunch of lights and effects that set off the night in style, and the best music, ever - a night of wall-to-wall, back-to-back, unadulterated High School Hits – djshandy, two DJs who have been doing this since 'back then' give you the ultimate retro experience.
Doors and bar open from 7 pm and the event kicks at 8 pm. This is one night where you are absolutely, positively, guaranteed to enjoy and remember.
Skirts were never the required length, non-regulation earrings were a statement, ties were worn loosely with the skinny end out, trousers were tapered or shortened, and oh what we did to our hair… let’s do it again! Throw on the skool days threads, tease out the hair, and we'll see you there.
As all good advice from our younger days went: “I swear to drunk I'm not God! But seriously, stay in drugs, eat school, and don't do vegetables”. Did we do this?
