This is a special invitation to musicians, producers and educators to attend (alongside the participants of the challenge) the guest speakers session of the Māngere Love 48 Hour Music Production Challenge. This is too good an opportunity for us not to share with our wider music community.

- Andy Morton aka Submariner

Andy Morton aka Submariner has been a major player in Aotearoa’s music scene for over 20 years. In this time he has produced, mixed, remixed or written tracks for Che-fu, Home Brew, Feelstyle, Dam Native, Sola Rosa, Dimmer, King Kapisi, Ermehn, Mark de Clive Lowe, Nathan Haines, Teremoana Rapley, Ardijah, Fat Freddys Drop, Pitch Black, Recloose, Rhombus, Salmonella Dub, Julien Dyne, Stellar, Opensouls, Sione's Wedding (composed soundtrack),Tyra & the Tornadoes, Eru Dangerspiel, Ria Hall and many more.

Based out of his studio “the Creative Orchard” in Karekare. Andy’s studio is chock full of vintage equipment these days, and he specializes in recreating classic production styles of days gone by, always with an ear to the future.

With over 30 years in the music industry, Colin Wolfe has a resume that proves his versatility and dedication to sonic excellence. His iconic melodic hooks composed with Dr. Dre and NWA, unforgettable bass performances with Michael Jackson and Madonna, and producer credits with the likes of George Clinton and Monica, Wolfe has earned his stripes with the biggest stars in the industry.

Dedicated to his craft and the future of music, Wolfe can add trailblazer to his long list of accomplishments. A core member of the live performance collective, SunSeshLA, he is utilizing his decorated past to help talented “unknowns” advance their careers in the uncharted territory of the New Music Industry.

Producer, musician, composer and mentor, Colin Wolfe has helped to create some of the most celebrated music in recent history and what’s to come from this veteran is just as exciting.
